Summary: Completion of the necessary history, physicals and other medical assessment required for appropriate patient care. When providing coverage at the Walk-in Treatment Center, prompt execution of House Officer duties will apply:
Consultation with attending/referring physicians, nursing and other clinical professionals to ensure effective quality patient care. Evaluation of patients requiring transfer in other services to patients under the ultimate supervision of the Director of Medicine or attending physician on service and as set forth by the Director of Medicine. Completion of all required documentation to comply with Hospital/Medical Staff Bylaw requirements, State and Federal regulations, THC requirements and third party payor requirements. Works closely with the Health Center Director, Medical Director and staff physicians in other disciplines in assuring ongoing performance improvement, peer review and customer-responsive care in assigned clinics. Assures productivity standard of Health Center providers consistent with targets specified in contract.
Required: Family Practitioner, experience working in a community setting. Complete PREs when necessary. Evaluating patients from all age groups.
