Summary:The primary function of the Network Engineer II is to design, install, and maintain the organizations Network Infrastructure. This is a 3500+ Node Cisco based network. Functions include installation, implementation, maintenance, and business evaluations of Network Infrastructure.Including cost justifications, data security, functional analysis, and providing support for users. Network Engineer II will oversee infrastructure design, implementation, organization, and troubleshooting.
Education: A.S. degree in computer or information science preferred or equivalent combination of education and Network related experience. One or more of the following certifications are a preferred: MCITP / CCNA
Experience:Three (3) to five (5) years of experience working on an Enterprise class Network. Support and Engineering includingserver technologies, VMware, multiple Windows operating systems (2008 Server), topologies and protocols (TCP/IP), Cisco Wireless, ASA/PIX, EIGRP, STP, VLSM.
