Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a Human Resources Senior Field Specialist to join our team in Palo Alto, CA.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute plans to equip existing and new account leadership in supporting various people processes for the following areas: employee relations, compensation, benefits, EEO, personnel records and training performance management, and Federal/State employment regulations.
- Handle professional workplace environment compliance issues for client base.
- Coach Manager’s on performance and other associate related issues.
- Serve as liaison with hiring/on-boarding/exiting process, including participation in orientation.
- Act as primary contact for human resource functions at the account level, and working with senior leaders to implement account and corporate people-related initiatives.
- Promote and instill company culture, values and style through enterprise communications, training, coaching and innovative programs.
- Design and/or implement account business-related solutions in a service culture while supporting corporate initiatives.
- Provides input to program timeline, costs and implementation.
- Participates in tactical and strategic planning for the Human Resources function, as it relates to account business/client environment.
- Works on projects with diverse issues, suggesting alternative solutions to solve difficult issues.
- Interacts with customers and account leadership at all levels to reach resolution meeting employee's needs as well as Perot Systems' account requirements.
- Provides recommendations on deviation from policy in cases of extreme hardship.
- Coaches other associates and acts as a subject matter expert as appropriate.
Required Skills: - 5 plus years of Human Resources experience.
- Skills in analyzing and interpreting HR data - including knowledge of CA and NV labor and wage laws
- Domain experience and expertise in the following areas: HR delivery and operations; compensation and wage laws; internal consulting; coaching leaders; policy and guideline interpretation; succession planning skill
Minimum Educational Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
Minimum Certifications or Other Professional Credentials: - PHR or SPHR Certification preferred.
**Travel is approximately 50%**
